Kids Included presents free learning series on children’s mental health

Opening Minds will be back this fall!

Mental health starts in the early years with healthy social-emotional development. This fall, we’re bringing back our free Opening Minds learning series on children’s mental health to help you build practical skills that support young children’s wellbeing.

Opening Minds has two streams: one for staff at community agencies who work with young children, and one for families of children ages 0-5. In six interactive online sessions, you’ll learn evidence-based strategies that you can use in everyday interactions with children to help them feel safe, secure, and supported.

If you want to learn more about supporting your child’s mental health, or add some new skills to your professional toolkit, we’d love to see you there. There is no cost to participate in Opening Minds (approximately $300 value).

Registration for Professionals

If you work at community agency in a role where you interact with children five and under, this series is for you.

For a full list of session topics or to register, please see the Opening Minds Series flyer (PDF).

Registration for Families

If you are a parent or caregiver, registration for the Building Family Resilience stream is also now open!
